What does early access mean?
The AI Builder is new and still rolling out, so it will keep changing as we improve it. Sign up to try it. Whatever changes, your projects keep their Git history and can be exported.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want and ask for changes in plain language. If you do code, the project is a normal Git repository, so you can read and export every file.
Do I need a GitHub account?
No. Every builder project gets its own managed Git repository on Hostingsurge.
What happens if a change breaks the build?
The builder gets the build errors, fixes them and checks again, a limited number of times. If the problem remains, you see what went wrong and can restore the last good version.
When does my site go live?
Only when you choose Publish. Until then nothing is deployed to production, and publishing uses the normal deploy pipeline.
How do Build Credits work?
Builder work uses Build Credits, which are separate from infrastructure usage. Free accounts get 5 one-time credits after verified signup, Pro and Business include 100 a month, and you can top up any time ($25 for 100).
Can I take my code elsewhere?
Yes. It’s a standard project in Git, and you can export it any time. There is no lock-in.
