Anything a visitor reads on your pages, much of what they see, and the fields that decide how search engines show you. Write it in your own words, in any language. No coding is needed, and you do not need to know which template, layout or block holds the text.
Words and headings
Rewrite a heading, correct a price, shorten a paragraph or change a button label or the words above a contact form. The website builder finds the text wherever it sits in the page content.
Design and layout details
Brand colours, spacing and small layout fixes go into WordPress Additional CSS, so the new design works on every theme and stays together in one place you can read and remove. It can use fonts your site already loads, but it cannot add a new font from another site.
New pages
Ask for an About page, a service page or a landing page for your business. It is written as ordinary WordPress blocks in the language of your site, and it opens in the editor like any page you made yourself. Prefer to finish a text on your own? The AI assistant can save it as a WordPress draft instead.
SEO titles and descriptions
Page titles and meta descriptions go into Yoast SEO or Rank Math when you run one of those plugins. Without them, the connector plugin prints the title and description itself.
Image alt texts
Pictures in your media library with no description get an alt text written from the file name, title and caption, with the page’s text as context. The AI cannot see the picture, so you read each text before it goes live.
Menus, site title and tagline
Add a new page to a menu or change the website title and tagline from the chat, without opening wp-admin. Menu items do not show in the preview; they appear after you publish.
What it leaves alone: it does not install plugins, edit theme files or PHP, delete content, or touch users and other settings. Those stay in wp-admin, where you decide. It cannot replace pictures yet.

Is it safe to let AI change a live WordPress website?
It is as safe as the limits around it, so here they are. The AI proposes a change as a list of small edits. The plugin on your site accepts the kinds it knows and refuses everything else.
A private preview first
Nothing the AI generated reaches visitors until you press Publish. The change card shows you every link and all new content first. The preview link is signed, belongs to one change and expires.
Undo in one click
Your own site keeps the old values for its last 30 changes, and Undo puts them back. If someone has edited what a change touched since, the builder tells you and leaves their work in place.
WordPress revisions stay
Changes to a page’s text and title go through WordPress itself, so they also appear in the normal revision history in wp-admin. Elementor text, SEO fields and alt texts get no WordPress revision; Undo covers those.
No code runs on your site
The plugin never runs code it receives. Text passes through WordPress’s own kses filter and CSS through a sanitizer before anything is saved.
Signed requests, no password
Each request between Hostingsurge and your website is signed, works once and is tied to the address you connected. There is no WordPress password to leak.
You hold the switch
Live changes are a permission you grant in the plugin. The switch under Settings → Hostingsurge turns them off. Disconnecting is a separate step, and that is what removes the key on both sides.

What does the free WordPress site scan check?
It reads your home page and up to four more pages and lists what is wrong with the website, most important first. You need a free account, with no card and nothing to connect. The scan uses no credits. Each fix the AI makes afterwards uses Build Credits.

What does the WordPress AI builder cost?

Is there a Lovable for WordPress?

Will it break my theme or my plugins?
It does not touch theme files, PHP or plugins. Edits go into page content, SEO fields and Additional CSS, and your site’s last 30 changes can be undone. A style change can still look wrong on your particular theme, which is what the preview is for.
Does it work with Elementor?
Partly. It can change text inside Elementor widgets, page titles, SEO fields, image alt texts and CSS. It will not move or add sections, so layout work stays in the Elementor editor. The page keeps working as an Elementor page afterwards.
Do I need to move my website to Hostingsurge?
No. It works with any web host where your WordPress website runs over HTTPS and can use the plugin. If a server forbids framing, the preview opens in a new tab and the chat keeps working. If you want managed hosting later, you can move the website in, and it then connects with one click.
What happens to my changes if I stop paying?
They stay. A published change is ordinary WordPress content on your website, and removing the plugin does not remove it. Undo keeps working with no credits left, because it makes no AI call.
How long does it take?
Connecting takes a few minutes, mostly uploading the plugin. A change takes as long as the AI needs to write it, usually seconds to a minute. Publishing and undoing are as fast as a normal save in WordPress, so trying an idea is easy.
Can I use it on client websites?
Yes. Your first connected site is free, a WordPress site hosted here is never charged, and every other site is a one-time add-on of 10 Build Credits, up to 20 sites. Each site has its own connection and its own history of changes. Team members work under the access rules of your Hostingsurge team.
Which AI model does it use?
DeepSeek, through DeepSeek’s own API, the same provider as our AI Builder. Text from the page you are changing is sent to it, marked as data and never as instructions. DeepSeek is named on our list of sub-processors.
Can it write in my language?
Yes. Write your request in any language. New text follows the language you ask for, or the language of your website when you do not say.
